Program Director

I transplanted from the warmth of sunny, southern California to attend medical school in Iowa at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. It was a great decision -- a chance to experience four seasons, learn Midwest hospitality, appreciate true ice cream, and even learn some medicine. California, however, did summon me back to complete my Family medicine residency at Loma Linda University Health. I stayed at Loma Linda University Health after completing residency where I found true joy in creating relationships with and treating patients while developing my passion for academic medicine. Academic medicine allows me to share my love for compassionate and individualized patient care with the next generation of physicians. As program director, I hope to embrace this post-COVID19 world and create curriculum and opportunities for physicians to become community leaders, inspired to share their own talents for patient care and make the world a better place.

Outside of medicine, I love to spend time with my awesome husband, Larry, and three rambunctious kids Liam (8), Connor (5), and Nolan (5). If I ever find myself with some free, you will find me trying to DIY my home, pulling the jungle of weeds in the yard, or sneaking in a quick trip to Disneyland. One day, time-permitting, I will resume pier-fishing, playing piano, and making crème brulee.

Stay happy, stay healthy, and thank you so much for your interest in our residency program!

Program Coordinator

My journey in the realm of healthcare began with my bachelor's degree, where I developed a deep understanding of healthcare systems and administration. My educational journey continued as I pursued a master's degree in Public Health, solidifying my commitment to improving the well-being of communities on a broader scale.

As program coordinator, I play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing day to day operations of the family medicine residency program at Loma Linda University Medical Center - Murrieta. My comprehensive knowledge of healthcare administration enables me to navigate the complexities of coordinating the program that will have a positive impact on the residents we lead so that together we can promote health equity and creating accessible healthcare solutions for all.

In my free time, I love to explore the world, allowing me to create lasting memories with my loved ones.
