Minimally Invasive Lung Biopsy
The less time cancer spends in your body, the better. That’s why we use minimally invasive, robotic-assisted technology designed to biopsy suspicious lung nodules.
A biopsy involves removing a sample of tissue to test for cancer. Traditional diagnostic methods are more invasive and have a higher rate of complications. They can also sometimes require multiple scans and biopsies to test hard-to-reach areas of the lungs. Our system's highly maneuverable robotic catheter offers a safer, less invasive approach, allowing us to access all 18 segments of the lungs in a single session. With our robotic-assisted system, we can provide quicker diagnosis and increase the chances of more effective treatment.
Talk to your doctor about whether robotic-assisted lung biopsy is right for you.
Treatments
In addition to complete radiation and interventional radiology services, we also offer:
- Robotic-assisted surgery
- HIPEC – hyperthermic intraperitoneal therapy
- Minimally invasive surgery
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery
